Student Representative Council (SRC)
The SRC consists of a couple of students from each year and various representatives take up positions such as junior or secondary publicity officers, treasurer, president and vice president and fundraising coordinator.
The SRC put their thinking caps on as to how they could make the school a better place. Many extraordinary ideas have been put forward and a few have been put into action.
At the end of term we can expect from the SRC a sports day/mufti day where gold coin donations are encouraged. The SRC thank everyone out there for their ongoing support and promise to deliver more special services, which will benefit the school in the future.
School Captains
Two Junior School Captains are elected every year from Year 6. Two Senior Captains are elected every year from Years 11 and 12. These students are automatically members of the Student Representative Council.
House Captains
There are three Sporting Houses at NICS- Norfolk (red), Philip (blue) and Nepean (green). Each house has two Senior and two Junior Captains and Vice-Captains. The students help the organisation of the carnivals.
